He has professional certifications in cybersecurity (CISSP, SSCP), network administration and design (CWNA), and project management (ITIL, PMP), with specialized training in the agile project management framework Scrum (CSM).

He holds a master of science degree in cybersecurity and information assurance from Western Governors University.
