Target Applications of RUCKUS T670
Sports Venues
From stadiums to community sports complexes, connectivity is key to enhancing both spectator and participant experiences. Outdoor access points support a myriad of uses, from ticketing and concessions to broadcasting and instant replays on personal devices. For athletes, these access points allow the use of performance tracking and health monitoring technologies. For fans, they mean an enhanced fan experience with access to exclusive content, social media integration, and interactive seat upgrades.
Hospitality Venues
For hotels, resorts, and restaurants, the ability to provide guests with seamless internet access is now a basic expectation. Outdoor access points allow guests to enjoy uninterrupted service, whether they are by the pool, in the gardens, or at an outdoor dining area. This connectivity is essential not only for guest satisfaction but also for efficient operations management, including mobile check-ins, real-time communication for staff, and interactive services for guests.
Parks and Recreational Areas
Outdoor access points in parks enable visitors to enjoy enhanced experiences, from interactive tours and augmented reality games to simply providing the bandwidth necessary for picnickers to play music or videos, or to allow remote workers to enjoy the outdoors. These technologies not only enhance visitor satisfaction but also assist park management in crowd control, event management, and maintenance through connected devices and IoT solutions.
Urban Spaces
Cities are transforming into smart urban landscapes, where connectivity drives everything from traffic management to public safety. Outdoor access points facilitate a wide array of services in urban settings, such as public Wi-Fi networks that improve access to city services, enhance the visitor experience, provide vital connectivity during public events and mobile data offload. They also enable city managers to deploy smart city technologies, such as traffic sensors, security cameras, and public information displays, all integrated through a robust wireless network.
RUCKUS T670 Key Capabilities
Tri-Band Capability and High Data Rates
- Tri-band (2.4GHz + 5GHz + 6GHz) for the US and Canada: This configuration supports Wi-Fi 7 simultaneously on 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz frequency bands, with a maximum physical data rate of 9.336 Gbps.
- Dual-band (2.4GHz + 5GHz) for global use: This setup offers Wi-Fi 7 simultaneously on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequency bands, with a maximum physical data rate of 6.454 Gbps.
Multi-Link Operations
- Link Redundancy
- Link Aggregation
- Link Selection
Standard Power Mode in 6 GHz with Automatic Frequency Coordination (AFC) support
- Standard Power mode with AFC enables Wi-Fi to use the 6GHz band in the US and Canada without interfering with incumbent devices. T670 is the first Wi-Fi 7 outdoor AP in the industry to receive FCC 6GHz Standard Power certification.
- Integrated with Comsearch® AFC system which leverages nearly five decades of experience in microwave frequency coordination and expertise with cloud-enabled, data-centric dynamic spectrum management systems, T670 dramatically increases range and performance in the 6GHz band while minimizing interference to incumbent devices.
