E6R214: MPLS Principles

Category Name: Converged Edge Router

Description

This self-paced eLearning is part of the suite of courses for Routing for the E6000 CER. This eLearning provides overall information about MPLS. This course discusses how MPLS differs from traditional routing, how MPLS fits into the OSI and TCP/IP models, and MPLS architecture and components. It deals with establishing MPLS neighbors, how to target specific neighbors, and troubleshoot MPLS. It also explains how to configure MPLS to create both Level 2 and Level 3 VPNs with MPLS. Included in this course are video examples showing how to configure MPLS, VRFs, targeted LDP, EoMPLS, and L3VPNs.

This course is part of the E6000 CER Routing Suite. The full list of courses includes:

  • E6R210: IS-IS and the E6000 CER
  • E6R211: BGP Principles
  • E6R212: BGP and the E6000 CER
  • E6R213: OSPF and the E6000 CER
  • E6R214: MPLS Principles
  • E6R215: MPLS and the E6000 CER
